CURVED is one of the most popular platforms for tech and digital lifestyle news in Germany. Upcoming topics and trends are detected by analyzing data in real-time. Based on this, an in-house editorial team with its own photo studio then delivers quality content of the hour. I was part of a small team at SinnerSchrader, which built CURVED in only 100 days for the client Telefónica.
Tech news is insanely time-sensitive. Only the smart use of data allows CURVED to be always relevant. A real-time analytics dashboard enables editors to find content worth writing about. The algorithm suggests the topics of tomorrow, which are then curated and turned into engaging content by the editorial team.
Apart from UI/UX, I was also involved in creating the brand. News is read everywhere and anytime – the design focused on mobile devices since day one and even the logo itself adapts to small screens. The code-inspired CURVED brackets ⊂ ⊃ are text-only CI elements, bringing an advantage to social media marketing and SEO.
